Aligner Treatment
Aligner treatment involves a series of clear, BPA-free, and FDA-approved plastic aligners that are 3D printed to custom fit over your teeth. When worn as prescribed, the aligners can progressively move the teeth without the need for braces. We use 3D imaging to carefully plan out each precise movement, making sure your treatment is as safe and efficient as possible. With our iTero® 3D scanner, you’ll be able to watch a simulation of how your teeth will move and what the predicted end result will look like before you even begin treatment. The best part is that the aligners are completely removable, giving you the freedom to eat, drink, brush, and floss without any inconvenience!
Braces
Braces consist of brackets and wires that are attached to your teeth and adjusted on a six to eight week basis to move the teeth into their desired positions. The braces apply gentle, continuous pressure to the teeth and surrounding bone over a period of time to move them into the right place. Once the teeth are in alignment, the braces are removed and retainers are worn to maintain their final positions and allow the surrounding bone to stabilize. There are different types of esthetic braces that you can choose from - ceramic, gold metal, and silver metal.
Clear braces
Clear ceramic brackets can be used with metal wires to provide a more esthetic look throughout treatment. Their translucency allows them to blend into the natural shade of your teeth, making them hardly noticeable. Unlike clear plastic brackets, ceramic ones are strong and won't stain from colored foods and drinks.
Metal braces
Smaller and more comfortable than ever, traditional metal braces are now a favorable option for patients of all ages. The braces themselves come in gold or silver metal, and you can decorate them with any color of the rainbow, or keep them discreet with clear bands. At every visit you'll have a chance to change your color choices, so your smile can always be your best accessory.
Retainers
Once you've invested in your smile, you'll want to protect it with the help of retainers. Retainers are custom-made to hold your teeth in their final positions. Lifetime wear is highly recommended as teeth can slowly shift over time.
There are different types of retainers, some of which are clear and removable, and others that can be permanently bonded to the back of your teeth so you can smile worry-free. We can help you decide which retainer type is best for you based on your needs and preferences.
